Description

- Our learning centre staff can supervise and educate children as young as six weeks of age and as old as five years. Between six and fifteen weeks, your children can be enrolled into the Bright Early Learning Centre. In our Twinkler’s room (a special room designed for children between six and fifteen weeks), we can look after eight children a day in the cosy room. The Twinkler’s room is quiet indoors to allow children to sleep and it has an outdoor area which has been designed to meet the developmental needs of babies. Our next room caters for children between fifteen and thirty six weeks children are usually confident to walk, so they will be moved to the Beamers room where they will become more independent as they start to develop relationships with others and begin to explore their safe environment. From fifteen weeks onwards children are taught about the world around them with a special emphasis on literacy skills and language skills. Our next room caters for children between three and four years whom have acquired basic self-help skills. During these years, children are helped to develop the skills and understandings required for positive interaction with one another. They will also be helped to develop empathy towards the needs and feelings of one another. Our final room caters for children between four and five years of age. A qualified kindergarten teacher with a Degree in Early Childhood Education will plan formal teaching lessons and informal play to enhance learning outcomes for children. During these years, childrens understanding of science and maths will be developed. Throughout the years your child attends the Early Learning Centre, they will grow, learn and play.
